Rieker Technology

Founded in the Black Forest region of Southern Germany in 1874, Rieker originally produced shoes for the affluent citizens of Northern Italy.

Rieker soon gained a reputation for quality and has built itself into a household name in Central Europe.

The company has been family owned for 5 generations and its commitment to quality and style has ensured continuous growth for 30 years.

At the beginning of the 1970’s new headquarters were set up in Switzerland and production moved away from Europe. Today Rieker employs approximately 20,000 people in Eastern Europe, North Africa and Vietnam.

Slip your shoes on! No more awkward zips or annoying laces!

The Rieker Ready2GO function allows you to put the shoe on quickly by easily slipping it on, hands-free and without any aids. The firm heel part acts like a shoehorn and is a pull-on aid for easy slipping-on. Elasticated materials on the front edge of the shaft provide additional support.

Rieker Removable Insole

The Rieker Removable Insole is a loose insole that can be quickly and easily removed from the shoe and put back in just as easily. The underside of the insole has a rubber-like texture to prevent it from slipping inside the shoe. The removable feature makes it possible to replace the insole with a different one, such as an orthopaedic insole, for customised comfort.

RiekerTEX

RiekerTEX technology offers extensive weather protection from moisture, cold and wind. The core of RiekerTEX products has a water-repellent high-tech membrane which is incorporated between the outer material and inner lining, providing protection from all types of weather.

RiekerTEX has thermos-regulating properties to keep your feet warm and cosy, and is breathable to allow moist air to dispel. With a windblocker property, RiekerTEX products provide outstanding protection from the elements.
